QUAID-E-AZAM SOLAR POWER (PVT) LTD. JOB VACANCIES

Quaid-e-Azam Solar Power (Pvt.) Ltd. (QA Solar), wholly owned by the Government of Punjab, has installed the first-ever 100 MW Solar PV Plant in Punjab. We require the services of professionally sound candidates for the following positions:

General Manager Plant

A seasoned GM Plant to manage the country\’s first 100 MW Solar Power Plant located at Lal Suhanra, Bahawalpur. This position involves supervisory and administrative duties, directing plant personnel in daily operations and maintenance as per the policies, goals, and objectives established by the CEO.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an HEC-recognized university.
• At least 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience in IPP and the power sector (national and multinational companies), including 3 years in a senior management position.
• Renewable energy experience preferred.
• Must be PE registered with PEC and familiar with applicable software. A Master\’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Site Office – Bahawalpur

Chief Internal Auditor (CIA)

The CIA will oversee the Internal Audit Department and report to the Board of Directors, assessing risk management, internal control, and governance processes.

Qualifications:

• 7 years of relevant audit experience.
• Must be either a member of a recognized body of professional accountants, a certified internal auditor, certified fraud examiner, certified internal control auditor, or hold a Master\’s degree in Finance from an HEC-recognized university.
• Preference will be given to candidates with public sector or international company experience.

A Manager Technical to support the program director in ground-mounted photovoltaic projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering from an HEC-recognized university.
• 7 years of relevant experience for a Bachelor\’s degree or 5 years for a Master\’s.
• Renewable energy experience preferred.
• PEC registration is required. A Master\’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.

A professional Manager Procurement & Contracts to manage procurement rules and procedures, familiar with public sector procurement and commercial negotiations.

• BBA/Bachelor\’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Commerce, Finance, CAF, or ACCA from an HEC-recognized university.
• 7 years of relevant experience for a Bachelor\’s degree or 5 years for a Master\’s.
• A Master\’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.

A qualified finance expert with experience in financial management, preferably in technical industries.

Qualifications:

• CA/ACMA/ACCA/M.Com/MBA-Finance from an HEC-recognized university.
• 7 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial forecasting, budgeting, and auditing.
• Power sector experience preferred. Dual qualifications may reduce the experience requirement to 5 years.

Qualifications:

• 7 years of public sector audit experience, preferably with the Commercial Audit and Evaluation Department of the Auditor-General\’s Office.
