Syllabus for Written Test:

  i) Agricultural Engineering, Water Engineering, and Agriculture – 75%
  ii) General Ability (General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Geography, English, Basic Mathematics, Urdu, Everyday Science, Basic Computer Studies) – 25%

EXTENSION & ADAPTIVE RESEARCH WING, AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT, GOVERNMENT OF PUNJAB

BASIC SCALE, NAME & NATURE OF POST:
(BS-17) Assistant Engineer / Sub Divisional Officer

SYLLABUS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION/TEST (IF HELD):
One paper of MCQ type written test of 100 Marks and 90 minutes duration. The syllabus is as follows:

• i) Qualification related questions (i.e. Civil Engineering): 80%
• ii) General ability including General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Geography, English, Basic Mathematics, Urdu, Everyday Science, and Computer Studies: 20%

Important Instructions:

1. Please read the \”Important Instructions\” regarding Application Fee, Written Test, Interview on PPSC website www.ppsc.gop.pk before applying online.
2. Employees of Federal Government or Semi Government and Autonomous Bodies of Federal or Provincial Government and those of Local Bodies are not entitled to age concession for the period of their service in such organizations.
3. Candidates claiming that their qualification is equivalent to the prescribed qualification must submit an equivalence certificate issued by HEC or the Qualification Equivalence Determination Committee (QEDC) of the concerned department.
4. In case of private firm/entity experience, candidates must provide proof of the firm\’s registration with SECP, Registrar of Firms, or any other Regulatory Authority.
5. In-service candidates must apply for NOC/DPC from their concerned departments and provide the same at the time of the interview (if called).
6. Candidates must provide Registration Certificates from PEC/PNC/PMDC/PMC/PVMC or other relevant regulatory bodies by the closing date and present them during the interview.
7. Marks or percentage certificates of all degrees must be provided at the time of the interview. CGPA is not acceptable.
8. Information provided on sources other than PPSC’s official website is not authentic.
9. Shorthand, Typing & Proficiency tests (if required) will only be held at Lahore.
10. In case of variation (increase/decrease) in the number of posts, no fresh applications will be invited.
11. Application fees should be deposited online via ATMs, Mobile Phone Banking, Internet Banking, Over-the-counter (at \”1Link Member Banks\”), Jazz Cash, Easy Paisa, U Paisa, and other micro-finance banks.
