The Government of Pakistan has obtained a \”Credit\” from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of Pakistan Hydromet and Climate Services Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments for the following \”National Individual Consultants\’ Services,\” to be procured under this project. The Project aims at strengthening the delivery of reliable and timely climate and hydro-meteorological services besides enhancing community resilience to shocks. Shocks include socio-economic disruptions caused to communities by climate risks, health emergencies, food security, and natural disasters.
National Disaster Risk Management Fund now invites eligible individuals to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide detailed CVs indicating that they are qualified to perform the services.

Attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank\’s \”Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers\” July 2016 [Revised November 2017, July 2018, and November 2020], setting forth the World Bank\’s policy on conflict of interest. The same shall be observed while participating in the procurement process.
The individual consultants shall be hired in accordance with the procedures set out in Para 7.36 of the World Bank\’s Procurement Regulations. In addition, the entire procurement process will be governed under the World Bank \”Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers July 2016 [Revised November 2017, July 2018, November 2020, and September 2023]\” which can be perused at the website: https://www.worldbank.org/en/projects-operations/products-and-services/brief/procurement-new-framework#framework.
Applications, complete in all respects, i.e. CV along with education and experience certificates, should reach Manager Procurement on or before 17 September, 2024 through surface mail, email, or in person. The name of the position applied for must be mentioned clearly on the top right corner of the envelope. Expressions sent over email will be acknowledged within 48 hours by the Fund.
