INSTRUCTIONS:

Qualification & Experience

  • Manager (PPS 9) – Finance
  • Medical Doctor with a Postgraduate degree in public health with specializations in health policy and systems development from a recognized institution.
  • At least 10-15 years of experience in the health sector at national or international levels across both public and private sectors, with at least 2 years in the public sector.
  • Experience in management of projects/programs in the public sector will be preferred.
  • Experience working with development partners and international NGOs is an asset.
  • Excellent report writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Other Skills (e.g. IT): Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet search engines, as well as surveillance databases.
  • Manager (PPS 8) – Procurement
  • Postgraduate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance from an accredited academic institution.
  • Higher qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in financial management and accounting in the public/private sector.
  • Understanding of multi and bilateral donor financial policies, procedures, and grant management.
  • Extensive experience in proposal preparation, budget formulation, financial analysis, and planning skills.
  • Other Skills (e.g. IT): Knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SPSS, and Financial databases.
  • Admin Officer (PPS 7)
  • Postgraduate degree in Business Administration/MPA or 16 years of education or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Admin Officer/Coordinator with a development organization, public health, or comparable experience in the public/private sector.
  • Understanding of multi and bilateral donor financial policies, procedures, and grant management.
  • Experience in financial and grant management, and procurement will be preferred.
  • Database Officer (PPS 7)
  • MS in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Statistics.
  • 5-7 years of experience in data and database management.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, and knowledge of health data and database management systems.
  • Skills: Working experience with databases like MySQL/Oracle/MS SQL, SPSS, and Excel.
  • Communication Officer (PPS 7)
  • Master’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized university.
  • 5-7 years of related working experience, with two or more years in health communication.
  • Skills: Proficient with media planning tools like MRI, Social Listening, and comScore. Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Training Officer (PPS 7)
  • Master’s degree or higher qualifications in Public Health, Social Sciences, Health Education, or Community Development.
  • 5-8 years of experience as a facilitator and trainer, with the ability to deliver complex information to various audiences.
  • M&E Officer (PPS 7)
  • Postgraduate degree in Public Health or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing field activities, including M&E of interventions and results in the public/private health sector.
  • Knowledge of recent developments in M&E, data management, and results reporting.
  • Office Assistant (PPS 5)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences.
  • 2 years of related experience is preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
